Our Programs
LITTLE ORCHARD SADOCHOK PRESCHOOL
KINDERGARTEN (EARLY CHILDHOOD)
Emphasis is given to the development of oral language
skills. Children take part in a variety of classroom activities: storytelling,
games, action songs, show and tell, picture stories, choral work,
drama and puppetry.
ELEMENTARY (GRADES 1-6)
Students take regular English instruction in Language
Arts, Mathematics and Science (approximately 50% of the school
day).
Instruction in Ukrainian is offered in Ukrainian
Language Arts, Religion, Social Studies, Music, Art, Health and
Physical Education. Currently, the elementary program is offered
at Father Kenneth Kearns
Elementary School.
JUNIOR HIGH (GRADES 7-9)
Instruction in Ukrainian is offered in the subject
areas of Language Arts and Christian Ethics (approximately 20% of
the instructional week). Currently, the Junior High program is
offered at Jean Vanier
Junior High School.
SENIOR HIGH (GRADES 10-11)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS FROM HIGH SCHOOL UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE TEACHER
Instruction in Ukrainian is offered in the Language
Arts Program. Currently, the Senior High program is offered at Archbishop
Jordan High School.
